The Trench is made from light water-resistant nylon. The nylon we use is OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified, so it meets the quality and chemical safety requirements of that standard.

Sustainability does not stop at the product. The Trench travels inside a reusable, water-resistant zippered pouch you can keep using day to day or on trips, and the shipping bag is biodegradable.

I took one star off because I wish the description on the website were a bit more detailed. Information about the lining and the weight would be really helpful. It would also be very useful to have a photo of the model standing still rather than in movement, as that could avoid unnecessary returns (which is what happened to me).
P.S. There is a lining, made of a very soft, fine cotton that adds structure and feels nice against the skin without actually making it warmer.

WHAT IS PREORDER?
Preorder is a more sustainable way of producing: we only make what has already been ordered. When an item is on preorder it means that it is being produced right now, and you will receive it as soon as we have it ready. The shipping date of these items is always shown on the product page. Producing this way lets us avoid overproduction and reduce our waste.
** When an order has one item in stock and one preorder item, both are shipped together on the date expected for the preorder item.
THE PRODUCT IS OUT OF STOCK, WILL IT COME BACK?
Please contact our customer care team for any information about stock. We work with small production runs, so from time to time you may find a product temporarily unavailable.
HOW DO I CLEAN MY BAG?
If your backpack is made of fabric, you can wash it with warm water, a mild soap and a soft brush. Just be careful to keep the leather and the metal parts away.
If you wish to clean a leather backpack, please take it to a professional cleaner. Many leather shops also carry different lines of products that protect your backpack from water and dirt.
CAN I CHANGE MY ORDER?
Of course! If you wish to change your order, write to our customer care team and we will do our best to help you. Please note that changes are only possible while the order has not been shipped yet.

WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY ORDER?
Items in stock are dispatched within 24-48 hours on business days (public holidays not included) and leave our warehouse. For preorder items, you will find the shipping date on the product page and in your order confirmation email.

Europe: 2-4 days
Outside Europe: 3-6 days
UK: 4-6 days (the parcel may be held at UK customs for some extra time, which is beyond our control)
